What This Service Involves

Kiln drying uses heat in an enclosed chamber to pull moisture down faster and more evenly than the weather allows. The result is dense wood that burns hot, clean, and predictably every time. In the wet Pacific Northwest, kiln drying sidesteps the humidity that can stall outdoor seasoning. The kiln process also brings the wood to temperatures that address surface pests and mold.
